The Forex Scalpers Magic of EMA’s

Ema’s:
First of all the ema’s we don’t focus a lot on it because it is an indicator and like we all know, we are price action traders with naked charts, we like clean charts because it make sense so please use this document more as an confluence and not as an indicator to trade from and fully focus on. Zone to zone is the basic and the key.

What ema’s do you need?

  • 14 ema exponential
  • 50 ema exponential
  • 200 ema exponential for hightime frame act as dynamic strong support or resistance.

Like you can see the ema’s act as a dynamic support and resistance levels every cross could be a entry after the retest from the 14 ema you will find out that price bounce off and come back like a magnet alot of times... every retest could be a entry in a trending market... when price candles slow down we could expect a new cross that act as change of trend make sure you keep eye on the h1 h4 daily you will find out that the crosses happend alot daily on the 5m / 15m time frames make sure that the ema’s cross smooth and open there legs after the cross in a big way , the wider the better.. we need smooth crosses not ugly because most of the time when we have a ugly cross it is a fake out! Be aware of this!

Rules:
  1. Clean smooth cross. Make sure the legs go open after the cross.
  2. Trending market.
  3. Keep eye on the high timeframes it works on all time frames!
  4. Don’t be greedy set targets.
  5. Don’t enter right after the cross wait for the first retest and break to the up or down side in strong bullish or bearish push.
Wwe know how the crosses + retests works. Keep in mind you keep focus on the zones and higher time frame because it is key. A cross is nice but its better if its happens from a zone or bounce off from a support or resistance so keep realistic ema is a indicator and an indicator can lie sometimes.... my ex did also hahaha just joking! Another example below.

A sweet cross on Usdjpy legs go wide open 14/50 do you see it? And market start to trend soon the trend change and we have another cross again a smooth one! And we continue up funny isn’t it?

Another example on gold xauusd (doesn’t work always that good on gold because gold is a very violent and has a lot of volatility)

Gold a lot of crosses and drop down a lot of pips on the table. But like you can see the crosses are not always that smooth. I test it on different pairs and works fine on eurjpy usdjpy gbpjpy cadjpy retest and backtest it please if you use this strategy!
